Darling Tinsel is not only strikingly beautiful to look at but she is also the sweetest and kindest little poppet.
Another stray dumped in the Leominster area, NO MICROCHIP & sporting a DOCKED TAIL….yes more illegal activity!
Tinsel was not your average happy go lucky puppy when she arrived, she was clearly traumatised by the recent events but she luckily bagged herself the most fantastic foster family with one of our team and she has absolutely blossomed ever since.
In her safe home environment Tinsel is a dream, she’s happy & confident and very affectionate & playful, she is thriving being at the heart of a loving family, she loves children, other dogs and cats.
That said, if away from her safe place she returns to a worried little pup who doesn’t understand unknown environments and becomes wary of new people, she will shake and cling to her safe person for comfort.
With time, gradual continued socialisation Tinsel will relax and learn to trust, she really will become the most wonderful and precious addition to a very lucky family.
Tinsel is doing very well with her house training, she will also use her puppy pads and has mastered the cat flap.
Unfortunately she doesn’t currently travel well, particularly if travelled alone and in a safety travel crate, this improves if travelled with her doggy foster brother for comfort but she will definitely need work to help settle her anxiety on car journeys.
We are looking for a home for Tinsel where she can enjoy life within a family unit, she copes well within a busy home as long as she feels safe (she particularly enjoys snuggling under a blanket).
Tinsel will need other kind and playful pets in her new family and can live with respectful children aged 6+.
