Lurcher

6 years old

Beautiful inside and out, Skye has a bit of background info…

She arrived with us as a stray back in November and returned back to her owner within days, sadly this time they clearly don’t want her back.

Still sporting a foot injury that she had and received treatment for by our vets back in November, perhaps she’s not quite as useful as she used to be!!

All we can say is that it is absolutely their loss, Skye is the most beautiful girl, so friendly & affectionate and always so pleased to see her special people.

Skye is now on her third course of antibiotics to help her foot wound & injury, she has a suspected dislocated toe which luckily doesn’t seem to be bothering her unless it’s being examined.

Worst case scenario, it may need amputation in the future.

To add to this, she has many old wounds across her body, but despite all of this Skye is such a chirpy and sociable girl and makes the best company, she enjoys  a little stroll, chilling out in our office and if we are busy she just settles down and has a nap.

She wouldn’t currently suit a lifestyle where she would be expected to walk miles every day, just whilst she takes it relatively easy.

Skye gets on well with other dogs so would make a wonderful extra addition to any sighthound loving family.

A home without small furries will be required.

Any children in the home would need to be 8 years old+.

Ideally we are looking for a kind owner/family who live locally so that if she has any further issues with her toe she can be seen by our vets.
