Are there any Bulldog enthusiasts out there? 😍💙
When he arrived as a stray, Bear had horrendous ears that had clearly been a mess for some time. After vigorous regular ear cleaning and a course of antibiotics we are so pleased that there is now no sign of infection, there is still a lot of dirt to get on top of so regular ear cleaning will need to be continued to ensure that Bears ears remain in good health and don’t deteriorate again. Our vet feels positive that they shouldn’t cause him any more trouble as long as looked after properly.
Bear has also had a good general spruce up, much needed nail trimming (a gradual process), regular baths & skin fold maintenance and has gained a good amount of weight so we are really pleased with his progress.
Bear has been a joy to care for, he’s a sociable and affectionate dog who is just grateful for anything you can offer him. A real character who loves to lay in the most hilarious positions. 💙
Bear enjoys a little stroll but wouldn’t manage lots of exercise particularly in this warmer weather, he would be more than happy to potter around, snooze as and when he likes with a human or two who can provide lots of love and affection.
We would love to find Bear a bulldog experienced home and a family of his own who will treasure him as he heads towards his twilight years.
We have seen no issues around other dogs but if there is another dog in the home then a compatible female would be best suited.
Bear has not been tested around cats or small furries as yet.
Any children in the home would need to be teenage years+.
