French bulldog

Are you a french bulldog lover?
Do you know a French bulldog enthusiast?
Gizmo, not only cute but this little lad is such a friendly soul with a fabulous character.
Unfortunately he’s been through it recently, having had BOAS surgery in recent weeks to improve his breathing, he then had a few complications after so his recovery took longer than expected but we are so pleased that he is now feeling so much better and raring to go again.
It was planned that two weeks after his BOAS surgery, Gizmo would then undergo TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgery to his ear, to remove the diseased ear canal but unfortunately due to his delayed recovery from his first surgery his ear surgery was postponed.
Gizmo was very lucky to have secured himself a forever home very early on after arriving into our care but that has now unfortunately fallen through, he’s also now in a situation where his current lovely foster mum has to return to work, so gizmo finds himself looking for a foster family who can support him through his upcoming ear surgery and aftercare (this will obviously be funded by HWAR).
In an ideal world, this foster family will be suitable and in a position to fully adopt Gizmo when he’s fully recovered as we would like to avoid any unnecessary upheaval for this little champ if we can.
Although this isn’t essential, it’s more important that we find him a safe and secure environment ready for his surgery.
Gizmo will ideally need a foster home without very young children, an environment with no other pets, he has never lived with other dogs and can become very excitable, with further surgery planned, a calm environment would be required where he can focus on his recovery.
Gizmo will need a foster home who would be able to commit to travelling him to and from the veterinary practice in Gloucester for his surgery and all further after care would be carried out at our vets in Hereford.
French bulldog experience will most definitely be an advantage.
We absolutely love this lad, he’s been dealt an awful lot of bad luck and we can’t wait to get him to a position where he’s feeling his absolute best.
