Teeny little Rolo has been through some tough times it seems. Joining us as a stray, although we do know some information about her previous life.
Sadly Rolo has entropion of both eyes, an incredibly painful condition that has caused her eyelids to roll inwards, therefore her eyelashes rub the surface of the eyes. We believe Rolo was born with this condition so has lived with this discomfort for some time. Rolo will return to the vets in just over a week once the inflammation has improved, she will have a thorough examination and a plan put into place for her, it’s extremely likely she will require surgery to both eyes. Rolo’s surgery and aftercare will be covered by HWAR, we will not allow her to suffer any longer.
Beautiful little Rolo desperately needs a stable home who can continue her training and confidence boosting, she’s very very hand shy but this may be because her vision is compromised.
Rolo can also be super excitable as she desperately wants to be close to you so nibbles your hands at every opportunity, this is her way of being (overly) affectionate.
We are looking for a patient adult only home where she can be the only pet. We are ideally looking for an experienced staffy lover who can shower little Rolo with all the love in the world.
Any new owner must be fairly local to Herefordshire as she will need to continue attending appointments with our vets.
