This young man has been so loved in his previous family but sadly the resident dogs didn’t feel the same, Teddy just didn’t understand that sometimes dogs (particularly small ones) need their space and don’t want to be bounced on by a big hairy pooch.
Teddy just adores human interaction and wouldn’t like to be left alone for long, he’s on the go constantly so wouldn’t be suitable for someone who wants a dog to sit and look pretty, he will need an active and fun lifestyle where he can be involved in all that his family do.
A home with other dogs is definitely possible but any resident dogs would need to be happy to share their home with an exuberant and enthusiastic Teddy, he has also previously lived with cats and birds with no issues.
A home without very small children is recommended, simply due to his boisterousness and as he has no idea of his size.
Teddy may be a large boy but he is still a great big puppy at heart and any owner must be capable and willing to start from scratch as you would with a little pup, he needs boundaries but will flourish into such a good boy and great companion.
