We don’t know where to start with introducing Laurel to you all..no words can truly describe how beautiful she is. ❤️
We believe that Laurel may share the same parents as lovely Alice who is in our care and also still searching for her special people. 😬
The sweetest and kindest young lady with a heart of gold, Laurel has clearly not had a stable life previously but we are determined to find her the most incredible family who deserve such a precious soul.
Laurel arrived with us as a stray after being found alone on a country lane and taken to the wonderful team at Ewyas Harold, therefore we fondly named her after The Laurels Vets.
Laurel had a nasty wound to the side of her mouth, cherry eye to both eyes, underweight, exhausted and lots of old scars across her body.
Over the past week Laurel has gained a positive amount of weight, her mouth wound has healed brilliantly thanks to her antibiotics, she has had a lovely soapy bath, countless amounts of snuggles and visited our Brookfield vets for her full health check where she also started her vaccinations, microchip implanted and received her parasite treatment.
Laurel was very brave and behaved impeccably even though she was a little worried.
Laurel will soon be having surgery to repair the cherry eye to both eyes, we would love for her to find a foster home/potential forever home where she can settle beforehand and after her procedure.
Laurel has had no issues with other dogs she has met so can possibly live with another compatible dog but would also thrive in an environment where she is the only pet and can receive all the cuddles to herself.
A cat free home will be required as a precaution.
Any children in the home must be 8 years+ as we have no previous history for her.
A foster home/potential forever home would need to be local to Herefordshire and willing/able to transport Laurel to her vets appointments where required.
