Sausage – now adopted!

Dachshund

Approx 10-12 months

Wow, how did no one claim you little one?!

Found as a stray with no microchip or identity tag, Sausage now finds himself looking for a new family to call his own.

He may have little legs but has bucketfuls of character, with this in mind we are searching for a home with experience of owning and loving the breed. They may be cute but dachshunds aren’t generally suitable for first time dog owners without experience of owning dogs previously.

The cheekiest of chappies with a huge heart, he has so much love to give and adores affection. 💙

Sausage has met dogs with nothing but a waggy tail but can become over excitable.

Any new owner would need to work on Sausages socialisation skills as he can be very vocal when out and about in new unknown environments. He would love nothing more than to be carried around like a baby but realistically this will only encourage his ‘little dog syndrome’ attitude, he needs to stand on his own four paws and be treated as a dog.

A home where there will be someone home lots will be required as Sausage doesn’t enjoy being alone for too long.

Any children in the home would need to be 8 years +.
