The prettiest little button!
Olive arrived with us as a stray along with another dog. They have been separated as we believe they were a breeding pair, both dogs also had awful skin and lots of missing fur, they were scratching themselves raw. As expected, our vets have confirmed that it’s likely mange, both were treated on arrival as a precaution.
Olive is the sweetest lady, she may be a little older but certainly not ready to retire and put her feet up just yet, she’s a busy little bee that loves to explore.
Olive is super friendly and loves people, an affectionate little soul.
Olive has been gradually gaining weight and after regular medicated baths her skin is starting to heal, when she arrived she had awful pressure sores on her back legs which have also improved hugely, she certainly loves having soft bedding to cuddle up on.
We feel Olive is sometimes a little hard of hearing, expected with her age.
We are now starting the search for Olive’s forever family, she’s a cocker spaniel lovers dream. It may take a little while for her to be back in top top condition but with continued love, decent food and care she will get there.
Olive will need a pet free home, due to her skin issues and as a precaution she won’t be suitable to live within a home with other pets for a while.
A home with children over 8 years old may be considered.
Little Olive has never put a paw wrong, we just love the bones of her 🧡
