This little lady caused quite a stir with our original post last week after trying to find her ‘genuine, loving owner’.
As we fully expected there was no such thing, we understand this poor little lady has been passed from pillar to post in her short life.
Not only has she got cropped ears, she has the most horrendous inner ears that have got into such a terrible state most likely from reoccurring untreated ear infections. This hasn’t happened in just a few weeks, poor Faith has been knowingly left in this condition for a long time. We can’t even begin to imagine how painful this has been for her, as soon as she was collected by the local dog warden she was taken for veterinary attention which she desperately needed. Faith has since had another check up and is now on more steroids as it’s still an impossibility to even get medication directly into her ears. Continued veterinary care for her ears will be covered by HWAR.
Faith has been so brave and we are so proud of her progress although it breaks our hearts that she still crawls on her belly when she meets new people.
Faith is the sweetest little poppet, very submissive but as soon as she realises she can trust you she wants to be attached to you, she desperately craves attention, kindness and love.
Upon research and guidance taken from the recent Government legislation we can confirm that little Faith doesn’t meet all the definitions stated therefore not classed as an XL bully.
We will still of course be searching for a very experienced dog owner and lover. An adult family who can cherish this young lady and protect her.
A pet free home will be required to ensure Faith can adjust to a new home environment with her new human/s in her own time.
